What is a Nissan Kicks

A question we always get when a brand new model rolls out for the first time is what is it?
I think I've gotten that question more on the Nissan Kicks than I have on just about any other model premier. I think theres a few reasons behind the curiosity. Besides the obvious that it's simply brand new and people like new things, other reasons are leading to the extra curiosity. For starters it has a unique style. Another is that it is replacing a polarizing vehicle in the Nissan Juke. People want to know if it's just a rebranded Juke or not. I can assure you it is not. Yes it is a subcompact SUV and it does have a style of it's own but that's where the similarities stop. It is not a Juke it is a Kicks. The style is funky, sexy, unique but it is not so funky that it will scare people away like the Juke did. The Kicks has style and funk with enough sophistication to look great no matter who is driving it. The Kicks has features that most of its competitors either do not offer at all or force you to step up to expensive trim levels to get. You want a backup camera and blind spot without taking out a 2nd mortgage to pay for it? The Kicks might be for you. Headroom, legroom, and incredible cargo space are all pleasant surprises inside the sexy little Kicks. So what is a Nissan Kicks? It's exactly what a subcompact SUV is supposed to be but very few are. It's a great looking, safe, fuel efficient, small but not cramped, affordable vehicle. Should you sacrifice quality, comfort, and features just to get a good deal on a great car? The Nissan Kicks doesn't think so. Are you going to win any drag races in the Kicks? Nope but is that why you buy an SUV? I hope not unless you want to spend 6 figures on a Trackhawk Grand Cherokee. While you're obeying the speed limit in your Kicks the other subcompact SUV next to you wont see you so you'll want to keep an eye on the blindspot indicators because the guy next to you probably doesn't have them.
